Ok, so I will just have to put this one up to a learning experience. I stayed up late last night, as usual, and woke up in the early evening. I was determined to exercise, but once I had a free moment to do so, my boyfriend hadn’t called and had just gotten home from work. So I waited for him to call and then hopped on my bike and did 20 miles. I felt so good, but afterwards I was starving. So I went to the kitchen to get some lentil soup thinking a cup of that would make me feel better. Nope. I had a cup of that, a banana, and several handfuls of chocolate Cherrios. So I probably ate back all the calories I burned off, but I guess I can feel good knowing it wasn’t calories added on to what I ate during the day with not having burned anything off.
I guess I need to exercise before dinner from now on, which is usually my biggest meal, or right after breakfast, which I want to focus on making my biggest meal. I’d like to just have oatmeal or some hot cereal with some form of fiber for dinner. I’d like to have the same lunch and dinner if possible and then leave my breakfast for experimentation. I’ve read of people enjoying pizza for breakfast just so they can still have it but have it as their first meal. I’d try of course for a healthier option if I were to do that, but I think I will stick with more breakfast staples with “treat” breakfasts throw in every now and again. But yeah, learning experience today. I’ll do better tomorrow…wait…today. It’s almost 6:30 in the morning again. *sigh* Night, morning, afternoon all.
